Overview:

Verengo Solar is based in Southern California and provides customized solutions to “greenify” the whole home. Verengo’s goal is to help save the environment while saving homeowners money and that’s helped them become Southern California’s leading residential solar panel installer.

Objective:

Verengo came to Wingman to create an advertising campaign that educated consumers about the benefits and ease of transferring their homes to solar energy. Verengo also wanted to reverse the flow of leads from an outbound telemarketing strategy to an inbound flow via radio advertising. The biggest challenge was Verengo wanted to accomplish these goals without being charged any upfront costs or agency fees.

Solution:

Utilizing our experience in lead generation, Wingman created a pay-for-performance model without any upfront costs or agency fees and was only compensated for results they delivered. For the radio campaign, Wingman hired TV legend, star of Disney’s mega-hit, “Up” and environmental activist, Ed Asner, to be Verengo’s spokesperson.

Results:

The number of leads generated for Verengo was double the size of what was originally predicted. Wingman also dramatically increased the amount for each sale and ROI per installed system.
